Michael Bisping on Anderson Silva: He’s tarnishing his legacy

Criticism toward Anderson Silva (41) regarding his performance and subsequent win at UFC 208 has not ceased. The co-main event was uneventful at best, but Silva’s opponent, Derek Brunson, believed that he had done enough to secure the win.

In fact, believing that he was “robbed” by the judges, who ruled the bout a unanimous decision favoring Silva, Brunson sought to file an appeal to overturn the decision. He later decided against that notion.

In an interview with Fox Sports, Brunson recently expressed his anger regarding the matter.

“It definitely was a robbery. Here’s what I’ll say to the judges—you guys love Anderson Silva, you guys are in awe of Anderson Silva. You didn’t show up tonight and do your job.”
